Our Mission: To work in solidarity with Salvadorans to facilitate community organization in order to address locally identified challenges in El Salvador including social, educational and health related issues; Our Vision: Our vision is to assist Salvadorans in reaching their full potential as members of and leaders in their families, communities and society;In order to accomplish this mission and vision, we run two main programs in Los Tehuistes, La Paz, El Salvador: 1) Knowledge is Power: a scholarship and leadership program for high school and university students, and 2) Farming for the Future: an organic farming/gardening initiative for families to combat malnutrition. We are known in the community for our first project, in which we helped to bring running, potable water to 150 homes.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS THROUGH NINE DIFFERENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES BENEFITING TWENTYONE STUDENTS

PROMOTING EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC EDUCATION BY ADVOCATING ON BEHALF OF PUBLIC SERVICING AND ALASKA NATIVE STUDENTS WHO LIVE ON RESERVATIONS AND TRUST LANDS WHICH DOES NOT GENERATE TAX REVENUE.

THE PURPOSE OF THE IS TO ACQUIRE FUNDS FOR PROVIDING AND PROMOTING A BROAD ARRAY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVIES TO THE COUNTY THAT ARE NOT FORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE REGULAR K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS PROGRAM, INCLUDING PRESCHOOL AND ADULT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS ENHANCEMENTS TO THE K-12 PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, THE PROVIDES A CENTER FOR THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT COME TOGETHER TO PROVIDE A STRONGER BASIS TO SERVICE THE .

AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL EXPENSES

WE FACILITATE JH BIBLE COLLEGE, A ONE YEAR INTENSIVE COURSE ON THE BIBLE WHICH PROVIDES GEOLOGY FIELD TRIPS AND OUTDOOR WILDERNESS EXPERIENCES. WE ALSO OFFER CONFERENCES, KIDS CAMPS, AND OTHER YOUTH AND ADULT RETREATS.
